Responsibilities

• Plan and implement preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for plant equipment.
• Ensure smooth operation of mixing tanks, reactors, filling machines, pumps, pipelines and utilities.
• Handle breakdown maintenance and minimize downtime of machines.
• Maintain and monitor utilities such as compressors, boilers, water systems and electrical panels.
• Ensure safety standards compliance related to chemical handling and equipment operation.
• Coordinate with production to align maintenance with production plans.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities, downtime reports and equipment history.
• Manage AMC contracts and vendor coordination.
• Ensure availability of critical spares and inventory control.
• Lead energy efficiency initiatives and cost reduction.
• Implement TPM and continuous improvement practices.
• Train and supervise maintenance team and technicians.

J ob Summary: The Maintenance Manager is responsible for ensuring smooth and uninterrupted operation of all plant machinery and utilities in the chemical manufacturing unit. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, breakdown reduction, safety compliance, and optimal utilization of equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for all plant equipment
• Ensure smooth functioning of mixing tanks, reactors, filling machines, pumps, pipelines, and utility systems
• Handle breakdown maintenance and ensure minimum downtime of machines
• Maintain and monitor utilities such as compressors, boilers, water systems, and electrical panels
• Ensure compliance with safety standards related to chemical handling and equipment operation
• Coordinate with production team to align maintenance schedules with production plans
• Maintain records of maintenance activities, downtime reports, and equipment history
• Manage AMC (Annual Maintenance Contracts) and vendor coordination
• Ensure availability of critical spares and inventory control
