Job summary

ITC Limited - Foods Business Division (24 Mantra Organic) seeks a seasoned Maintenance Leader to drive reliability, safety, and efficiency of manufacturing equipment and plant utilities. The role emphasizes preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance along with TPM, RCA and cost optimization.

You will lead Maintenance, Quality and Safety initiatives and coordinate with TPU to ensure smooth, 24x7 plant operations in a FMCG environment.

Qualifications

• B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering – Mandatory.
• 8–12 years of relevant maintenance experience with managerial/supervisory exposure.
• Experience in FMCG, Food Processing, Beverage, Dairy, Personal Care or Consumer Goods Manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and PLC systems.
• Hands‑on experience in TPM, preventive/predictive maintenance, RCA and OEE.
• Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, FSSC 22000, ISO and EHS.
• Working knowledge of MS Office and SAP.

Responsibilities

• Lead preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance for production machinery, utilities and infrastructure.
• Drive RCA, TPM, OEE and equipment reliability improvement initiatives to minimize downtime.
• Plan maintenance schedules, shutdowns, budgets and critical spare requirements.
• Lead installation, commissioning and maintenance of new equipment and projects.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, FSSC 22000, ISO and EHS requirements.
• Lead Maintenance, Quality and Safety infrastructure initiatives and support the TPU in achieving operational and productivity objectives.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, EHS, Procurement and other functions for smooth plant operations.
• Manage maintenance vendors, contractors and service providers.
• Maintain maintenance records, KPIs and performance reports, including SAP.
• Lead and develop the maintenance team while driving cost optimization and operational excellence.

We are seeking an experienced and proactive to lead the maintenance function and ensure the reliability, availability, safety, and efficiency of manufacturing equipment and plant utilities within our FMCG production facility.

The role will be responsible for driving preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance, equipment reliability, maintenance planning, cost optimization, and statutory/safety compliance. The Manager will also lead Maintenance, Quality and Safety infrastructure initiatives and support the TPU (Technical/Product/Production Unit, as applicable) to ensure smooth and efficient plant operations.
