Job summary

Alstom is seeking a full-time Signalling and Train Control Maintenance Engineer in Jaipur to join our engineering team. You will apply your expertise in automatic train control systems, work with Operations Maintenance, Engineering and Customer Service, and ensure reliable operation of ATC equipment.

Responsibilities include following maintenance schedules, servicing signalling gear (hardware and software), preparing intervention reports, analyzing failures, and coordinating with customer

Qualifications

• Diploma engineer or higher in Electrical or Electronics.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Track side ATC, CBI systems, SDTC, and on-board ATC of ALSTOM make U200 solution.
• Knowledge of maintenance practices of safety-critical systems.
• A certification or proven competence in technical standards related to signalling systems.
• Communication and coordination within team and customer.
• Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities.

• Following pre-defined maintenance schedules.
• Attending to all types of signalling gear (software and hardware) trackside ATC, ASCV, SDTC On Boards ATC equipment.
• Failure Diagnosis, Root Cause Analysis and Reporting of DTG Signaling System and related interfaces.
• Forecasting the consumable/spares requirements.
• Collaborating with customer Level 1 maintenance teams.
• Collecting and analyzing failure data from the OM team.
• Conducting double-checks on failure cards/gears on test benches.

You'll ensure the seamless operation and reliability of our automatic train control systems. Day-to-day, youll work closely with teams across the business (Operations Maintenance, Engineering, Customer Service), conduct preventive and corrective maintenance, and much more.

Youll specifically take care of servicing and repairing signalling gear, preparing detailed intervention reports, and also ensuring the integrity of onboard equipment. Additionally, you will collaborate with customer maintenance teams to address any anomalies during the contract period.
