Job summary

Alstom Transportation in India (Bhopal) is seeking a full-time Signalling Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance and project activities for railway signalling systems.

You will manage preventive and corrective maintenance during the DLP, coordinate with Project Managers, service engineers, technicians, and customers to deliver reliable solutions, and ensure adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
• 8-10 years of experience in signalling systems for railway projects.
• Experience in testing, commissioning and troubleshooting signalling systems.
• Familiarity with preventive and corrective maintenance of safety-critical systems.
• Strong problem-solving and team-working skills.
• Proactive mindset and willingness to acquire new knowledge.
• Ability to build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and OEMs.

• Following predefined maintenance schedules and ensuring compliance with safety policies.
• Preparing failure and intervention reports.
• Collaborating with the customer OM team to address anomalies during the DLP period.
• Supervising and inspecting Signalling system maintenance activities.

• Supporting contract KPIs and coordinating technical meetings with clients.
• Providing documentation and reports to assist maintenance teams and project managers.

You'll play a key role in ensuring the operational efficiency of Signalling systems during the Defect Liability Period (DLP) and maintenance contracts. Day-to-day, youll work closely with teams across the business (Project Managers, Service Engineers, Technicians) and external stakeholders (customers, subcontractors, and suppliers) to deliver high-quality maintenance solutions and much more.

You'll specifically take care of preventive and corrective maintenance activities, but also troubleshooting and resolving technical issues on-site.
