Job summary

Gyandhara Industries in India seeks a maintenance engineer to oversee the mechanical and electrical upkeep of the cattle feed plant. You will manage preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance, aiming to minimize downtime and maximize output.

You will lead maintenance technicians and coordinate with production, stores and OEM/service providers, ensuring safety protocols, LOTO and PPE compliance across all activities.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• 4–8 years of experience in industrial maintenance.
• Experience with mechanical and electrical systems in a plant environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle mechanical and electrical maintenance of the cattle feed plant.
• Maintain Hammer Mill, Mixer, Pellet Mill, Conveyors, Elevators, Gearboxes, Motors, Pumps, Boiler, Compressor, etc.
• Plan and execute preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance.
• Minimize machine breakdowns and production downtime.
• Manage maintenance team, technicians and contractors.
• Maintain spares inventory and maintenance records.
• Ensure proper safety, LOTO and PPE compliance.
• Identify recurring problems and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Production, Stores, Purchase and OEM/service providers.
