Job summary

Savita Devi is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee plant maintenance for electrical, mechanical, and utility equipment. The role covers preventive and breakdown maintenance, troubleshooting of PLCs, motors, panels, and automation systems, and coordinating external technicians.

The candidate should have a Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and at least 38 years of relevant experience in industrial settings.

Qualifications

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 38 years of relevant industrial/plant maintenance experience.
• Strong practical knowledge of electrical and mechanical maintenance.
• Experience with PLC, automation, motors, panels and industrial machinery.
• Manufacturing/industrial plant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle complete plant maintenance activities for electrical, mechanical and utility equipment.
• Plan and execute preventive and breakdown maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical panels, motors, pumps, sensors and relays.
• Maintain and troubleshoot PLC, automation systems and control panels.
• Lead maintenance technicians and allocate daily maintenance work.
• Coordinate with external technicians/vendors for specialized maintenance work.

Job description

Role & Responsibilities

• Handle complete plant maintenance activities for electrical, mechanical and utility equipment.
• Plan and execute preventive and breakdown maintenance to minimize machine downtime.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical panels, motors, pumps, sensors, contactors, relays and industrial wiring.
• Maintain and troubleshoot PLC, automation systems and control panels.
• Handle mechanical maintenance of pumps, motors, conveyors, gearboxes, valves and other plant machinery.
• Monitor and maintain CED coating plant equipment, conveyors, rectifiers, ovens, tanks, pumps and related utilities.
• Ensure proper functioning of compressors, DG, cooling systems and other plant utilities.
• Maintain preventive maintenance schedules and equipment history records.
• Identify recurring breakdowns and implement permanent corrective actions.
• Manage maintenance spares, tools and inventory requirements.
• Coordinate with external technicians/vendors for specialized maintenance work.
• Ensure maintenance activities are carried out safely and follow electrical and industrial safety procedures.
• Maintain daily maintenance reports and breakdown records.
• Support installation, commissioning and modification of new machines/equipment.
• Lead maintenance technicians and allocate daily maintenance work.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 38 years of relevant industrial/plant maintenance experience.
• Strong practical knowledge of electrical and mechanical maintenance.
• Experience with PLC, automation, motors, pumps, panels and industrial machinery.
• Manufacturing/industrial plant experience preferred.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Able to independently handle plant maintenance and emergency breakdowns.
