Job summary

Rhea Healthcare in Dadri, UP, is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Engineer to manage the engineering department and ensure reliability of hospital-critical equipment such as generators, transformers, UPS, boilers and HVAC systems.

You will coordinate maintenance activities with various departments, monitor preventive maintenance schedules, manage 24x7 rosters, ensure safety, and prepare service and monthly consumption reports for senior management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee engineering department and maintenance of critical equipment (generators, transformers, UPS, boilers, AC systems) and building infra.
• Assess hospital preparedness for equipment breakdowns.
• Provide support to operational departments.
• Coordinate maintenance works with FD and concerned departments.
• Ensure safety at work at all times.
• Maintain AMC charts, preventive maintenance schedules, and cost details.
• Prepare and maintain service reports.
• Submit monthly maintenance and consumption reports to GM at HO.
• Allocate technicians and rosters for 24x7 operations.
• Implement and monitor electricity and water saving methods.
• Coordinate with local authorities for compliances.
• Coordinate retrofits/renovations between projects team and vendors.

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Engineering department covering all critical equipment such as :

• Generators
• Transformers
• UPS system
• Gas banks
• Boilers
• AC systems: temperatures to be maintained in critical areas
• Water Management
• Sewage & waste treatment
• Bio medical treatment plant
• Kitchen equipment
• Fire prevention equipment
• Building Infrastructure
• Upkeep of the facility
• Mandatory & statutory compliances

2. Understand the hospital preparedness for breakdown of equipment

3. Support provided for operational departments

4. Coordination with the FD & concerned departments on maintenance related works / requirements.

5. To ensure safety at work at any given time

6. AMC chart / documentation to be maintained with periodical preventive maintenance schedule, period of contract, cost details etc. for all equipments which are under AMC.

7. Service reports documentation

8. Monthly maintenance & consumption reports to be submitted to GM at HO.

9. Allocation of technicians & duty rosters for 24 x 7 hassle free operations

10. Implementation / Monitoring of Electricity & water savings methods on day-to-day basis

11. Coordination with Local authorities for compliances as required

12. All Retrofits / Renovations coordination for execution between projects team & vendors in the respective units.
