Job summary

ITC in Telangana seeks a Packing Executive to oversee the packing line, ensuring reliable operation, maintenance and performance improvements across multiple machines. You will lead preventive and corrective activities, manage spares, and guide technicians to higher skill levels while recording all maintenance history.

Qualifications

• Strong technical competency and maintenance knowledge.
• Ability to guide technicians and operators.
• Experience with packing machinery preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and breakdown maintenance on packing machines with strong practical skills.
• Execute changeovers/startups for variety and SKU changes.
• Plan and execute preventive, predictive and annual maintenance activities.
• Handle spare parts for packing machines, coders, check weighers and associated equipment.
• Work on reducing laminate wastage and equipment downtime; support modifications and improvements.
• Maintain and operate coders, printers and check weighers.
• Familiarity with Omori, flow wrap, Bosch and Unipack packing machines; knowledge of Ishida/Bizerba weighers and printers/coders preferred.
• Guide technicians and support in their skill development; train operators to technician level.
• Document all maintenance records and history cards for machines and accessories.

Role & responsibilities

Packing Executive will be responsible for ensuring reliable operation, maintenance and performance improvement of all the packing machines within the plant. Role requires strong technical competency, maintenance knowledge and the ability to guide and develop the technician/operators.

Key Responsibilities: -

1. Perform routine and breakdown maintenance on packing machines with strong practical skills
2. Execute changeovers /startups Variety, Sku’s changeovers and settings
3. Plan and execute Preventive, Predictive and Annual maintenance activities
4. Handle spare parts of packing machine, coders, check weighers and associated equipment’s
5. Work on reducing laminate wastage and reducing equipment downtime, support in modifications, fabrications and improvement job on the packing machines
6. Maintain and operate coders, printers and check weighers
7. Should be Familiar with Omori, flow wrap, Bosch and Unipack Packing machines, advantage if familiar with Ishida/Bizerba check weighers and Printers & Coders - Markem/Domino/Control Print
8. Guide technician and support in their skill development, train operators and help them to move towards technician level
9. Documentation part – Keep all records, maintenance records and history cards for all packing machines, coders and check weighers

Preferred candidate profile: Min 60% in academics
