Job summary

The Global Zone in India seeks a maintenance technician to conduct preventive and breakdown maintenance of mechanical equipment, ensuring minimum downtime and rapid restoration. You will troubleshoot mechanical problems, analyze recurring breakdowns, maintain pumps, compressors, gearboxes, conveyors, mixers, reactors and pipelines, and coordinate with vendors for specialized work.

• Experience in preventive and breakdown maintenance of mechanical equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical problems and identify root causes of failures.
• Experience attending emergency machine breakdowns and coordinating repairs.
• Familiarity with maintaining pumps, compressors, gearboxes, conveyors, mixers, reactors, pipelines, valves and other plant equipment.
• Experience maintaining breakdown reports, preventive maintenance records and equipment history.

Monitor critical spare parts and maintenance requirements

Coordinate with vendors/service providers for specialized maintenance work.

Maintain breakdown reports, preventive maintenance records and equipment history

Support ISO documentation and audits related to the Maintenance Department.

Supervise maintenance technicians and helpers and allocate daily maintenance jobs.
