Job summary

Sovira It Services is seeking a skilled CNC Maintenance Technician/Engineer for an on-site role at Bela Rail Wheel Plant, District Chhapra, Bihar. You will maintain and troubleshoot Siemens CNC systems and wheel/axle machining equipment.

The ideal candidate has ITI or diploma in Electrical or Mechanical engineering, strong electrical/hydraulic troubleshooting skills, and the ability to read electrical drawings. Shift-based work and relocation may be required to support plant operations.

Qualifications

• ITI or diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Hands-on experience with Siemens CNC systems and wheel/axle machinery.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of CNC machines.

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled CNC Maintenance professional with hands‑on experience in maintaining and troubleshooting CNC machines, particularly those operating on Siemens CNC systems. The candidate should have strong electrical and hydraulic troubleshooting skills and be capable of reading technical drawings.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of CNC machines.
• Troubleshoot and rectify electrical, hydraulic and control‑system faults.
• Work on Siemens CNC systems, particularly CNC/VTL‑related machinery.
• Diagnose machine faults and minimize machine downtime.
• Perform maintenance of: VTL (Vertical Turning Lathe)
• Axle Turning Lathe
• Under Floor Wheel Lathe
• Surface Wheel Lathe
• Read and interpret electrical and hydraulic drawings.
• Identify root causes of recurring machine breakdowns and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain proper records of maintenance activities and breakdowns.
• Follow all applicable safety and maintenance procedures.

Required Skills
