Job summary

Givaudan seeks a proactive Maintenance Engineer to maximize equipment availability at the Ranjangaon facility. You will lead preventive maintenance, supervise technicians and contractors, and drive rapid fault resolution to reduce downtime.

The role requires hands-on problem solving, KPI analysis, and strong collaboration with cross-functional teams to optimize asset performance and safety across the site.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in Maintenance, project and reliability engineering.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation).
• Experience in leading maintenance teams and coordinating contractors.
• Solid knowledge of preventive maintenance, RCA and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Analyze engineering KPIs focusing on performance, cost and service using Tableau and BI reports.
• Plan and supervise planned preventive maintenance across mechanical, electrical and facility systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot live machinery to minimize downtime.
• Lead root cause investigations and implement long-term corrective actions.
• Manage external contractors and guide internal technicians during execution.
• Enforce safety procedures including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).
• Conduct risk and criticality assessments across the plant.
• Develop and scale Predictive Maintenance paths with vibration, thermal imaging and lubrication analysis.
• Drive engineering strategy to minimize downtime and costs while enabling reliability.
• Support project management and ensure documentation aligns with processes.

Maintenance Engineer, Ranjangaon – Your future Position?

We are seeking a proactive, hands‑on Maintenance /Reliability Engineer to maximize daily equipment availability and ensure the continuous operation of our production facility. In this role, you will be the first responder to critical breakdowns, execute scheduled preventive maintenance plans, and supervise the troubleshooting efforts of technicians and local contractors, You shall have experience of handling team of technician and contractors.

In This Role You Will Focus On

• Engineering KPI analysis - Monitor Engineering KPI focusing on performance , cost and services though tableau and BI reports ,analysis the gap and derive correction action though PDCA / RCA .
• Execute Maintenance Plan: Perform and supervise planned preventive maintenance (PM) across mechanical, electrical, and facility systems. Ensure adherence with full‑fledged comprised PM module of SAP and MRS. Ensure best utilisation of resources.
• Rapid Fault Breakdown Response: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and fix live machinery issues rapidly under high pressure to minimize factory floor downtime.
• Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Lead exhaustive structural investigations into major, repeating asset disruptions and engineer persistent, long‑term corrective solutions
• Contractor & Team Supervision: Manage specialized external contractors and guide internal technicians during execution.
• Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to permits to work procedure Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols.
• Risk Analysis Studies: Conduct Criticality Assessments, reviews across the plant floor.
• Predictive Maintenance (PdM): Develop and scale advanced condition monitoring paths including regular vibration tracking, thermal imaging, and lubrication fluid analysis.
• Engineering strategy: Proactive & Strategic mindset to minimise the equipment downtime, cost control and value creation though long terms reliability cantered focus .
• Project Management- Ensure the department initiatives execution being executed as per organisation process by using project managements tools.
• DMS- All project and maintenance documentation as per best documents processes and aligned with GEP.
• Soft Skills: Good analytical skill and presentation skill, hands on MS office strong problem‑solving skills, and clear verbal communication for cross‑department handoffs, High‑level strategic thinking. Value creation through solving problems /driving long term strategy.
