Job summary

ALPLA Group in India seeks an experienced Plant Maintenance professional to lead maintenance for plastic manufacturing equipment. You will oversee preventive and breakdown maintenance, manage shifts, and ensure safe operation of electrical systems.

Candidates should have 5–10 years in plastics plant maintenance and hold a Diploma or B.Tech in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. The role offers growth in a dynamic, international environment with a focus on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• 5 to 10 years of plant maintenance experience in plastic manufacturing.
• Diploma or B.Tech in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Manage preventive and breakdown maintenance of machines across shifts.
• Monitor and maintain switchyard, PCC panel room, and capacitor panels.
• Plan and execute injection molding preventive maintenance.
• Track energy consumption and optimize power management for each machine.
• Keep machine manuals updated and maintain engineering store spares.
• Control inventory levels in the engineering store to avoid downtime.
• Ensure safety of personnel and equipment with PPEs and LOTO.
• Provide timely breakdown analysis and report corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Oversee shift management and troubleshooting of equipment.

Maintenance Operations

• Strong Exp of EBM Technology
• Shift management & active involvement in Preventive & breakdown maintenance of machines
• Monitoring & maintenance of switchyard , PCC panel room , capacitor panel ,
• Planning & execution of Injection molding Preventive maintenance
• Complete power management system & tracking of energy consumption of each machine
• Keeping record for all Machine Manuals.
• Keeping record of all machine electrical spares in the engineering Store & updating of records from time to time.
• Control of Inventory Level in the engineering store to avoid machine down time.
• Shift management and Trouble shooting
• Responsible for safety of human and plant & machinery of the concern area.
• Completion of assigned Tasks by management from time to time
• Breakdown Maintenance
• Proper record of Breakdown maintenance - Time taken, Type of problem, spare parts used & Person respectively.
• All Breakdown maintenance need to be analysed on daily basis & report to Manager to avoid the re occurrence of the problem corrective action to be taken.
• Preventive maintenance
• Preventive Maintenance schedule to be followed keeping the following points in view: As per the recommendation from the machine manufacturer. As per the experience / breakdown problems faced on the machines.
• Ensure smooth run of machine to achieve production efficiency
• Ensure safety of team members & contract manpower with Proper using of PPEs & LOTO
