Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain Air Compressor, Boiler, LPG yard, and utility yards.
• Maintain Water Treatment Plant, Effluent Treatment Plant, and related lab analyses.
• Perform daily preventive and predictive maintenance across all areas.
• Keep hourly log books and manage spares and updates for the department.
• Submit invoices, track costs, and maintain PPE and legal documents.
• Ensure ZLD compliance and monitor water parameters per PCB specs.

Role & responsibilities

Job Purpose

Operate and maintain the plant's utility equipment, including the Air Compressor, Boiler, LPG yard, Argon/CO2/O2/N2 yard, Water Treatment Plant (DRO, IRO, DI and Soft Water) and Effluent Treatment Plant, and Dock Levelers.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the Air Compressor and related accessories.
• Operate and maintain the Boiler and related accessories, HVAC, Dock Leveler, and Roof Exhaust systems.
• Ensure daily monitoring of N2, O2, LPG and R32, and track consumption and ordering.
• Carry out Preventive and Predictive Maintenance across all responsible areas.
• Carry out daily CLTI (Autonomous Maintenance) activities.
• Maintain the daily log book on an hourly basis.
• Manage spares and provide daily department updates and tracking.
• Submit invoices and follow up on payments.
• Track costs, log suggestion entries, and maintain PPE and legal-related documentation.
• Track chemicals and other consumables.
• Operate and maintain the Water Treatment Plant (Filter Water, Soft Water, RO Plant), including lab analysis.

• Operate and maintain the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP), including lab analysis.
• Maintain inlet and outlet water parameters as per PCB specifications.
• Be responsible for Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD).

Required Knowledge

Working knowledge of Air Compressor, Boiler, LPG yard, Argon/CO2/O2/N2 yard, Water Treatment Plant (DRO, IRO, DI and Soft Water) and Effluent Treatment Plant, and Dock Levelers.

Qualification & Experience

Academic Qualification

Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering

Industry Background

Any industry Automobile, Pharma, FMCG or Air Conditioning preferred
