Purpose of the Position/ Summary

The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for the upkeep, repair, and maintenance of all mechanical, electrical, and structural components of the houses after handing it over to the clients.

Key Responsibilities & Activities

Maintenance Work

• Address the maintenance needs, queries, and concerns of customers after handing over for a year, effectively and professionally
• Develop maintenance plans and seek approval from management before executing them,

Resource Management

• Arrange workers and materials required for various maintenance tasks, encompassing electrical, mechanical, and structural components, to ensure timely and efficient completion of projects.

Procurement Management

• Generate purchase indents for necessary materials and equipment, coordinating with procurement teams to fulfil requirements in a cost-effective manner while maintaining quality standards.

Coordination

• Liaise with contractors to address any maintenance issues beyond in-house capabilities, negotiating terms, monitoring progress, and ensuring compliance with project specifications and timelines.
• Collaborate with vendors to procure high-quality materials and supplies, maintaining positive relationships and negotiating favorable terms to support ongoing maintenance operations.
