Qualifications

• Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil or related engineering field.
• 25 years of maintenance experience in hotels, resorts, hospitality, or commercial facilities.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, DG sets & power backup, Fire fighting systems, Water treatment, Building maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on hotel equipment and infrastructure.
• Inspect and maintain guest rooms, public areas, restaurants, banquet halls, offices, and back-of-house facilities.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, and civil maintenance issues.
• Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests and emergency breakdowns.
• Coordinate with external contractors and service providers for specialized maintenance work.
• Monitor utility consumption and recommend energy-saving initiatives.

Ramada by Wyndham Khajuraho is seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Engineer to ensure the smooth operation, maintenance, and repair of all hotel facilities and engineering systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house facilities, and all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and utility systems to provide a safe, comfortable, and exceptional guest experience. The role includes preventive maintenance, emergency troubleshooting, and compliance with hotel safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on hotel equipment and infrastructure.
• Inspect and maintain guest rooms, public areas, restaurants, banquet halls, offices, and back-of-house facilities.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, and civil maintenance issues.
• Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests and emergency breakdowns.
• Conduct routine inspections of DG sets, transformers, pumps, water treatment systems, boilers, chillers, and fire safety equipment.
• Monitor and maintain lighting systems, elevators, kitchen equipment, laundry equipment, and refrigeration units.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and hotel standards.
• Maintain maintenance logs, work orders, equipment history, and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Coordinate with external contractors and service providers for specialized maintenance work.
• Monitor utility consumption and recommend energy-saving initiatives.
• Ensure proper inventory of maintenance tools, spare parts, and consumables.
• Support renovation and refurbishment projects as assigned.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of engineering workshops and equipment.
• Participate in emergency response procedures and on-call maintenance duties when required.

Required Qualifications

• Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related Engineering discipline.
• 25 years of maintenance experience in hotels, resorts, hospitality, or commercial facilities.
• Strong knowledge of:

• Ability to read technical drawings and maintenance manuals.
