The Chief Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based at Sayaji Hotels in Raipur, responsible for overseeing all engineering, maintenance, and technical operations of the property. This role includes planning and executing preventive and corrective maintenance for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and building systems to ensure safety, reliability, and efficient functioning.
The Chief Engineer will manage and mentor the engineering team, coordinate with other hotel departments, and work with external vendors and contractors for specialized services. Daily responsibilities include monitoring energy consumption, implementing cost‑effective solutions, ensuring compliance with local regulations and safety standards, and responding promptly to guest and operational maintenance requests.
The role also involves budget planning for maintenance, maintaining detailed records of repairs and inspections, and supporting continuous improvement in facilities and guest experience.
