Job summary

Lincoln Electric is seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer in Chennai to support manufacturing operations. The role requires hands-on experience with PLCs, S7 300, Mitsubishi FX/Q Series, and WinCC Flexible, along with strong knowledge of drives and switchgear.

Leadership of small teams for cost-saving improvements is valued. Applicants should have a Diploma in EEE or BE EEE and a mandatory C License, with 5–10 years in manufacturing maintenance.

Qualifications

• Diploma in EEE / BE EEE is preferred.
• C License is mandatory.
• 5–10 years of experience in manufacturing with strong exposure to electrical maintenance.
• Knowledge in PLCs and drive systems is essential.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge in PLC systems: Siemens S7 300, Mitsubishi FX/Q Series, and WinCC Flexible.
• Maintain and troubleshoot electrical equipment, motors, pumps, transformers, and switchgear.
• Plan and execute cost-saving maintenance projects and lead a small team when required.

• 11kv Switch yard experience(CT/PT/Metering/Cables)
• DG Operating and Trouble shooting Experience
• CNC Knowledge is preferable
• EOT/Hoist knowledge
• KAIZEN, 7 QC TOOLS(Atleast 2 Projects)

3. Individual should have planned and executed cost saving projects and should have willingness take ownership and lead team towards success.

5 to 10 years of experience in a Manufacturing set up with strong exposure to Electrical Maintenance
