Job summary

GM Global Products And Sales seeks a Maintenance Engineer for our site at Shailendra Teck Park in Whitefield. You will ensure smooth operation of electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems with a hands-on approach.

You will perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot issues, coordinate with vendors, implement preventive measures, respond to emergencies, and uphold safety standards to keep facilities running efficiently.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electrical/Mechanical engineering.
• 2–5 years of experience in building maintenance or facilities management.
• Hands-on experience with electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on building systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, etc.).
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for equipment and systems.
• Respond to emergencies and minimize downtime.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.

Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Shailendra Teck Park. You'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our tech park's facilities, including electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and other building systems.

Key Responsibilities

Maintenance & Repairs

• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on building systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, etc.)
• Identify and resolve issues with infrastructure, equipment, and facilities
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs

Preventive Maintenance

• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for equipment and systems
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure systems are functioning optimally

Emergency Response

• Respond to emergency situations (power outages, water leaks, etc.) and take corrective actions
• Minimize downtime and ensure safety of occupants

Compliance & Safety

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and standards
• Conduct safety checks and risk assessments

Collaboration

• Work with facility management team, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless operations
• Provide technical support and guidance to maintenance staff

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related engineering field
• 2-5 years of experience in building maintenance / facilities management
• Hands-on experience with electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of safety protocols and compliance standards
• Good communication and teamwork skills

Preferred

• Experience in tech parks / commercial buildings
• Certification in facility management (IFMA, etc.)
