Job summary

Air India Limited in India seeks a seasoned Maintenance Manager to oversee stocking systems and ERP implementation for optimal aircraft maintenance and safety.

You will ensure accurate records of maintenance, inspections, and repairs, lead training across maintenance personnel, and collaborate with DGCA‑approved units to align with fleet needs (single and twin‑engine).

Qualifications

• AME license in B1.2/B3/B2 (incl. RTR Licence).
• 5+ years’ experience in aircraft maintenance.
• DGCA-approved organization experience in FTOs/ATOs/Airlines in India.
• Experience with single- and twin-engine fleets.

Key Accountabilities

• Assist Maintenance Manager to develop and implement a stocking system and an ERP for optimal maintenance.
• Implement policies and training maintenance personnel on best practices for aircraft maintenance and safety.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of aircraft maintenance, inspections, and repairs.

Any other additional responsibility could be assigned to the role holder from time to time as a standalone project or regular work. The same would be suitably represented in the Primary responsibilities and agreed between the incumbent, reporting officer and HR.

• Prior experience in DGCA-approved organization in FTOs/ATOs/Airlines in India
• Experience with single-and twin-engine fleet.

• 10+ years’ experience in aircraft maintenance.
• Prior experience with similar fleets (Piper PA-28 and Diamond DA42 NG aircrafts)
