Job summary

Air India is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to ensure ongoing maintenance of the airline’s fleet at the FTO, adhering to regulatory requirements and industry best practices. The role involves implementing stocking systems, ERP integration, and training maintenance personnel to uphold safety and standards.

Ideal candidates hold an AME license (B1.2/B3/B2 with RTR), a technical or bachelor’s degree, and 5+ years in maintenance, including DGCA-approved environments in India.

Qualifications

• AME license in Category B1.2 or B3 or B2 (including RTR Licence).
• Bachelor’s or Technical degree.
• 5+ years’ experience in aircraft maintenance.
• Prior experience in DGCA-approved organization in FTOs/ATOs/Airlines in India.
• Experience with single- and twin-engine fleet.
• 10+ years’ experience in aircraft maintenance.
• Prior experience with similar fleets (Piper PA-28 and Diamond DA42 NG aircrafts).

Responsibilities

• Assist Maintenance Manager to develop and implement a stocking system and an ERP for optimal maintenance.
• Implement policies and train maintenance personnel on best practices for aircraft maintenance and safety.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of aircraft maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
• Perform any other additional responsibility assigned as a standalone project or regular work, agreed between the incumbent, reporting officer and HR.
