Role Overview

The GM – Technical Operations (Airports) will be responsible for leading, governing, and delivering integrated technical services across Airport facilities under the IFMS vertical. The role demands deep domain expertise in airport-grade MEP systems, critical infrastructure operations, aviation regulatory compliance, client engagement, and multi-site team leadership. The GM will serve as the highest technical authority for all airport accounts, ensuring operational excellence, safety, and service continuity across terminal, airside, and landside assets. Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities

• Technical Operations Management

  Oversee end-to-end integrated technical operations of airport MEP services (HV/LV Electrical, HVAC & Chilled Water Plants, DG sets, UPS, BMS/IBMS, Fire & Life Safety, BHS, ELV, VHT, STP/ETP, PBB, Airfield Ground Lighting support, and Utilities). Ensure maximum uptime, asset reliability, and strict preventive & predictive maintenance adherence across all airport sites, terminals, and critical infrastructure zones. Drive standardisation of airport-specific SOPs, PM schedules, checklists, and technical documentation aligned with AAI, DGCA, BCAS, and international airport authority guidelines. Lead transition & HOTO activities for new airport projects and terminal expansions, ensuring zero-defect mobilisation in live, security-sensitive aviation environments.

• Airport Client & Stakeholder Management

  Act as the single point of escalation for Airport Operators (AAI, private concessionaires, and airline clients), managing technical interfaces with Airport Directors, Terminal Managers, and Airside Operations teams. Lead and participate in airport authority reviews, safety audits, BCAS/DGCA inspections, joint operational assessments, and performance evaluations with key stakeholders. Support Business Development and Transition teams with technical inputs, airport BOQ validation, site due diligence, scope definition, and mobilisatio.
