Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Limited in India seeks an experienced Mainframe Support professional with 5–8 years of hands-on expertise in COBOL, JCL, DB2 and related mainframe tools. The role covers incident resolution (P1/P2) and multi-task project support across banking domains.

You will work in a dynamic environment, handling service requests and tickets while adapting to project shifts. Strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience on COBOL, JCL, DB2.
• Experience resolving incident requests including P1 & P2.
• Experience in Mainframes support projects; Banking projects preferred.
• Able to manage multiple activities including service requests and incident tickets.
• Flexible in working different shifts as per project requirements.
• Good written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle COBOL, JCL, DB2 related tasks in mainframe support.
• Resolve incident requests including P1 and P2.
• Support mainframe projects, with banking domain preferred.
• Manage multiple activities such as service requests and incident tickets.
• Adapt to different shifts as required by the project.
• Maintain effective written and verbal communications with stakeholders.

1 should have hands on experience on COBOL, JCL, DB2.

4 should know how to manage multiple activities simultaneously including service requests and incident tickets.

5 should be flexible in working different shifts as per the requirement of the project.
