Qualifications

• Over 10+ years of experience in mainframe storage administration.
• Experience administering z/OS storage environments and disk subsystems.
• Configure and support SRDF replication for HA/DR.
• Perform disk initialization, reorganization and space management.
• Maintain SMS definitions across LPARs.
• Manage enterprise tape libraries and tape management processes.
• Monitor and automate space allocation to prevent outages.
• Analyze and optimize I/O with RMF/SMF and storage metrics.
• Maintain DFSMS components and related utilities.
• Implement backup, archive and DR procedures including DR testing.
• Troubleshoot high-severity storage incidents and requests.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to resolve issues.
