Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a seasoned Mainframe Storage Admin with 7 to 15 years of hands-on experience. The role focuses on mainframe hardware, storage systems, and performance tuning across Bengaluru, Chennai, and Mumbai locations.

You will work with z14/z15/z16 platforms, Sysplex setups, and leading storage arrays to ensure reliable operations. Candidates should demonstrate proficiency with OMEGAMON, TEPS, Netview, SIEM, and capacity planning, with DR readiness a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have 7–15 years of experience in Mainframe Storage administration.
• Proficient with z14/z15/z16 Mainframe HW and Sysplex Setup.
• Hands-on experience with Hitachi VSP 5500, IBM DS8000, IBM TS7000, EMC-VMAX/PowerMax & DLm HW.
• Mainframe Tools – OMEGAMON, TEPS, Netview, SIEM, IODF/IOCDS, HCD/HCM.

• Mainframe Tools – OMEGAMON, TEPS, Netview, SIEM
• IODF/IOCDS, HCD/HCM, Mainframe Capacity Planning and Performance Tuning

Good to Have:

Experience in Disaster Recovery setup and conducting DR drills.

Experience in Mainframe MIPS Optimization, Software rationalization

SMP/E, various ISV products, UserMods and Exit
