Job summary

A leading IT services firm in Bengaluru is looking for a Mainframe- Z/OS SYSPROG Admin. Candidates should have 8-12 years of experience with z/Architectures, particularly on z/OS. Responsibilities include production support, administration of z/OS systems, and automation procedures. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in tools and utilities related to mainframe systems. This is a full-time position in a dynamic IT environment.

Qualifications

• 8-12 years of experience required.
• Experience with z/OS systems is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of production support and automation.

Responsibilities

• Administer z/OS and related systems.
• Handle production support and ABEND through operational procedures.
• Manage RACF/ACF2 for user access privileges.

Skills

• Experience in Monitoring and Administration Tools OEM/ISV Tools – OMEGAMON, Mainview, Sysview
• Experience in Tape, DASD storage management and tools – DFHSM, VTS, $AVRS and dispatch tools
• Experience in REXX, CLIST, JCL, OMVS, CA7/11, CA-Endevor
• Experience in participating in DR drills
• Experience in hardware maintenance/trouble shooting
