Job summary

MainframeMaster in Pune, India, is seeking an Applications Development Intermediate Programmer Analyst with 6-9 years of mainframe experience to contribute to development and support activities. The role involves analyzing and solving technical issues, handling Level 3 production changes, and coordinating UAT/production deployments within a virtual team environment.

The candidate should have strong COBOL/JCL/CICS/VSAM/DB2 skills, experience in MQ/NDM/Scheduling, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• 6-9 years of strong mainframe experience with COBOL/JCL/CICS/VSAM/DB2.
• Experience in managing UAT/L3/Production support.
• Financial services domain experience.

Responsibilities

• Ability to work and resolve Level 3 production support changes.
• Fix production issues and perform small enhancements
• Manage UAT environments including health check, UAT support
• Work independently and perform release activity such as raising request for UAT/PROD deployment, debugging the issue, prepare/present the release documents
• Support Client Testing
• Providing expertise in technical analysis and solving technical issues
• Ability to diagnose & address application issues.
• Candidate should be willing to work late in the evening India time on need basis to meet urgent requests by Clients.

Job Overview

The Applications Development Intermediate Programmer Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities.

To meet the growing requirements of the Custody business, we need Mainframe L3 senior developer with strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability to work in L3 team.

Responsibilities:
