Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mainframe Developer with 2-3 years of hands‑on experience in developing, maintaining, and supporting Mainframe applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, and VSAM, along with a solid understanding of application development and support in Mainframe environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain Mainframe applications using COBOL and JCL.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Design, code, test, debug, and deploy Mainframe programs.
• Work with DB2 databases for data retrieval, updates, and optimization.
• Develop and support online applications using CICS.
• Perform production support, incident analysis, and issue resolution.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and quality assurance activities.
• Create and maintain technical and functional documentation.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure timely project delivery.
• Follow SDLC processes and Agile methodologies where applicable.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong experience in COBOL
• Hands‑on experience with JCL (Job Control Language)
