Job summary

Citibank (Switzerland) AG is seeking an Applications Development Intermediate Programmer Analyst to contribute to mainframe systems in a Custody environment. The role requires 6-9 years of COBOL/JCL/CICS/VSAM/DB2 expertise and experience in L3 production support, UAT coordination, and release activities.

The candidate should be able to work late India time as needed, communicate clearly, and thrive in a distributed team with strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• 6-9 years of strong mainframe experience with COBOL/JCL/CICS/VSAM/DB2.
• Experience in managing UAT/L3/Production support.
• Excellent communication, analytical skills and problem-solving experience.
• Financial services domain experience.

Responsibilities

• Ability to work and resolve Level 3 production support changes.
• Fix production issues and perform small enhancements
• Manage UAT environments including health check, UAT support
• Work independently and perform release activity such as raising request for UAT/PROD deployment, debugging the issue, prepare/present the release documents
• Support Client Testing
• Providing expertise in technical analysis and solving technical issues
• Ability to diagnose & address application issues.
• Candidate should be willing to work late in the evening India time on need basis to meet urgent requests by Clients.

• Good knowledge of MQ/NDM/Scheduling

The Applications Development Intermediate Programmer Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities. To meet the growing requirements of the Custody business, we need Mainframe L3 senior developer with strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability to work in L3 team.
