We are looking for an experienced Mainframe Developer with strong expertise in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining enterprise applications on IBM Mainframe platforms. The ideal candidate should have hands‑on experience with COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, VSAM, and other mainframe technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain applications on the IBM Mainframe platform.
• Write and maintain programs using COBOL.
• Develop and modify JCL for batch processing.
• Work with DB2 databases, including SQL queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
• Develop and support online applications using CICS.
• Work with VSAM files and other mainframe datasets.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and production support.
• Analyze business and technical requirements and provide suitable solutions.
• Debug and resolve application, batch job, and production issues.
• Monitor and optimize batch jobs and application performance.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
• Collaborate with business analysts, testers, and other development teams.
• Support application deployment and release activities.
• Prepare technical documentation and maintain existing system documentation.

Required Skills

• Strong hands‑on experience with COBOL.
• Good knowledge of JCL and IBM Mainframe utilities.
