Job summary

Broadridge is seeking a software professional with strong COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM and CICS skills to join our development team in India. The role focuses on designing, coding, testing, and implementing robust solutions while gathering requirements and documenting processes.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating across teams to deliver enhancements and troubleshoot issues, with a flexible to UK shift and a strong emphasis on continuous improvement and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, modifies and implements software solutions.
• Reviews system requirements and business processes; codes, tests, debugs, documents and implements software solutions.
• Develops program logic for new applications or analyzes and modifies logic in existing applications.
• Ensures that system improvements are successfully implemented.
• May test new software code and work in an Agile development environment.

Designs, develops, modifies, adapts and implements short- and long-term solutions to technology needs through new and existing applications, systems architecture, network systems and applications infrastructure. Reviews system requirements and business processes; codes, tests, debugs, documents and implements software solutions. Provides application software development services typically in a defined project. Develops program logic for new applications or analyzes and modifies logic in existing applications. Ensures that system improvements are successfully implemented.
