Job summary

Kairos Technologies in Hyderabad is seeking a Senior Mainframe Developer to join our product-based team. You will design, develop, and maintain mission-critical mainframe applications using COBOL, DB2, JCL, CICS, IMSDB, and VSAM, while providing 24/7/365 production support for high-availability systems. This is an on-site role with in-person interview at L1, located in Hyderabad.

Qualifications

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Mainframe Developer to support the design, development, maintenance, and enhancement of mission‑critical enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will possess extensive hands‑on expertise with mainframe technologies, including COBOL, DB2, JCL, CICS, IMSDB, and associated tools. This role requires strong analytical capabilities, a commitment to reliability, and the ability to provide comprehensive 24/7/365 production support for high‑availability systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and implement new and existing mainframe business applications.
• Provide continuous production support, including troubleshooting and resolution of system issues to ensure maximum system stability and availability.
• Develop and maintain interfaces, reports, and utilities to support core business functions.
• Conduct system integration testing and support user acceptance testing activities.
• Review, enhance, and debug existing programs to improve performance, efficiency, and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including business analysts, testers, and infrastructure teams, to resolve issues and deliver enhancements.
