Job summary

Qcentrio in Pune is seeking an experienced Mainframe Developer with 5 to 10 years of hands-on expertise to design, develop, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, DB2, and VSAM. The role requires collaboration with business and IT teams to translate requirements into robust solutions.

You will participate in Agile ceremonies (Scrum/Kanban/SAFe), ensure code quality, and continuously improve performance and maintainability of legacy systems. Immediate joiners preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5 to 10 years of experience in mainframe development.
• Proficient in COBOL, JCL, DB2, and VSAM.
• Strong understanding of Agile Software Development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
• Experience with mainframe tools and utilities.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities
