Job summary

Tech Mahindra is seeking a Senior/Lead Mainframe Developer in Hyderabad. The role requires a minimum of 5 to 12 years of experience in application development, maintenance, and support within a hybrid working environment.

Ideal candidates will have strong knowledge of COBOL, JCL, VSAM, and DB2, and preferably experience in Core Banking. Responsibilities include liaising with stakeholders and performing testing activities.

Qualifications

• Preferable: IMS/DB
• Optional: Assembler, EASYTRIEVE, CLIST, Rexx, CICS Knowledge
• Tools (preferable but optional): Endevor, Fileaid for MVS/DB2/IMSDB, OPC, OMCS, Xpediter, Abendaid, Servicenow, Rally.
• Domain Skills: Core Banking (Preferable but optional)

Responsibilities

• Application Development, Maintenance and Support
• Liaise with Customers, Leads, Onsite team and relevant stakeholders
• Requirements analysis and seek clarifications on the solution provided
• Prepare Unit test Plan, System test plan
• Perform Coding, Unit Testing, System testing, SIT Testing
• Perform Reviews
• Perform Defects Analysis
• Support SIT Testing, User Acceptance testing, Pre Production testing
• Perform implementation activities and provide Warranty Support
