Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Limited is seeking an IBM MQ Administrator in Bengaluru to manage installation, upgrades and ongoing maintenance of IBM MQ. The role requires expertise in configuring queues, channels, topics, and monitoring tools like MQ Explorer and Omegamon for MQ.

The candidate should be proficient in MQ utilities, perform online monitoring, and design MQ architecture patterns to meet new application requirements, including coordination with related MQ interfaces.

Qualifications

• Experience in IBM MQ product installation, upgrades, maintenance, configurations and troubleshooting.
• Expertise in administrating, alert setup and monitoring the message process using tools like MQ Explorer, Omegamon for MQ and TEPS.
• Design the MQ architecture pattern for the message processing flow as per the new application requirement.
• Defining the MQ objects queues, channel, process definition, Topic, etc.
• Skilled at executing IBM MQ utilities to handle the MQ queue messages (backup, deleting records, etc.).

Responsibilities

Must-Have

• Experience in IBM MQ product installation, upgrades, maintenance, configurations and troubleshooting.
• Expertise in administrating, alert setup and monitoring the message process using tools like MQ explorer, Omegamon for MQ and TEPS.
• Design the MQ architecture pattern for the message processing flow as per the new application requirement

• Nice to have knowledge with MQSeries and MQClients on distributed platforms.
