Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is hiring a Mainframe CICS Administrator to join our z/OS environments across Pan India. You will install, configure, upgrade, migrate, and maintain CICS, perform region setup and monitoring, and coordinate with IBM support for issue resolution.

The ideal candidate has 4–8 years of CICS experience, strong SMP/E knowledge, disaster recovery familiarity, and hands-on exposure to CA Sysview, Omegamon for CICS, and TMON.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in IBM CICS Administration on Mainframe (z/OS).
• Hands-on experience with CICS installation, migration, and upgrades.
• Good knowledge of SMP/E (Software Management Program/Extended).
• Experience in CICS troubleshooting, performance tuning, and monitoring.
• Understanding of z/OS components such as APF, LINKLIST, LPA, and VSAM.
• Familiarity with Disaster Recovery procedures and testing.
• Knowledge of ACF2 Security administration.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as CA Sysview, Omegamon, and TMON.
• Good analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
