Job summary

Tecnoprism in Mumbai seeks a Unix/Linux and Office 365 specialist to manage server and email infrastructure on a 24x7 rotation. You will handle system optimization, security configurations, and daily operations to ensure reliable service for users and stakeholders.

You will optimize performance, secure communications, and collaborate with IT teams to resolve issues while ensuring compliance with retention policies and regulatory requirements across the email ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Unix/Linux operating systems and commands.
• Experience configuring and maintaining Office 365 environments.
• Email infrastructure expertise including SMTP and anti-spam controls.
• Familiarity with email security protocols and EOP.
• Willing to work in 24x7 rotational shifts in Mumbai.

Job Description:

• Strong understanding of Unix/Linux operating systems and commands
• Optimize system performance by monitoring CPU, memory and disk usage, and troubleshooting bottlenecks.
• Automate system maintenance tasks like logs rotation, backup and scheduling jobs using cron.
• Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols.
• Good understanding of SMTP,NTP, Chrony, DNS and SFTP
• Configuring and maintaining email servers (like o365 ,SMTP)
• Message tracking in both office 365 and SMTP(send mail/postfix)
• Familiar with Email gateway (DLP/Symantec Messaging Gateway)
• Experience with Exchange Online Protection (EOP) and Anti-spam/phishing configurations.
• Experience with email security protocols (SPF,DKIM,DMARC)
• Experience with o365 quarantine administration
• Identifying and resolving issues related to email functionality, including connectivity, performance and security.
• Implementing and enforcing security protocols to protect sensitive email data and prevent unauthorized access.
• Managing email archiving and retention policies to meet legal and regulatory requirements.
• Working with other IT teams and users to resolve issues, implement changes, and provide support.
• Basic knowledge on windows servers
• Willing to work in rotational shifts (24*7)
