Job summary

ICF in Bangalore, India is seeking a Maconomy Systems Administrator to support the Maconomy ERP and EBIS reporting interfaces for the Europe & Asia group. You will train users, maintain configurations, and collaborate with Finance, IT and Operations to improve consolidation and reporting workflows.

The role requires 3+ years in a systems admin position, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with MS Office. Prior experience with Maconomy Extender and BI tools is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years in a Systems Administrator role in an international environment.
• Experience with Maconomy ERP and related applications preferred.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to train users on financial modules.

Responsibilities

• Guide and collaborate with E&A Finance, IT and Operations on setup and maintenance of Maconomy.
• Train users on Maconomy modules and provide ongoing support.
• Maintain Maconomy accounting system, evaluate issues, and propose solutions.
• Communicate with end users, manage support tickets, and coordinate with Maconomy Support.
• Assist migrations/new company setups and security user administration.
• Create data imports and maintain system process documentation.
• Support Business Transformation initiatives and report enhancements.
• Maintain employee/user records and day-to-day Maconomy support.

About the role

The successful candidate will provide Maconomy System support on the Maconomy ERP systems and related applications, including EBIS reporting (SAP Business Objects) / Web and mobile user interfaces to the E&A (Europe & Asia) Group to achieve the required business objectives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the following:

Job Role / Responsibilities

• Guidance and collaboration between E&A Finance, IT and Operation teams related to the set-up and maintenance of the system.
• Training users on the Maconomy financial system modules
• On-going maintenance and support of the Maconomy accounting system and related applications.
• Evaluating issues and developing solutions to problems encountered with the Maconomy system and related applications.
• Communicating with end users on support issues and managing the support process with Maconomy Support
• Review and recommend changes to the Maconomy systems ERP portfolio.
• Assist with the migration/setup of new companies (following acquisitions being migrated onto Maconomy to align processes and support efficiencies around consolidation / reporting / workflows) as well as projects within Maconomy, including security administration, maintaining users, groups, and user roles.
• Create and maintain data import files to automate/simplify the upload of data.
• Maintain and develop system process documentation.
• Consult with key users to identify and understand critical requirements (including reporting requirements and enhancements).
• Assist and play a key role with the Business Transformation team on financial system upgrades, transitions, implementations, and general process/procedural changes.
• Maintenance of employee and user records
• Day to day Maconomy ad hoc support to the Business
• Ensuring timely maintenance and closure of support desk tickets.

Experience / Skillset

• Maconomy systems administration / Knowledge desired
• Minimum of 3 years previous experience in a Systems Administrator role essential, ideally in an international corporation setting
• Familiarity with supporting local and international stakeholders.
• Clear and confident (oral and written) communicator.
• Awareness / understanding of end-to-end life cycle for Projects/initiatives (preferable but not essential)
• Particularly good standard of Microsoft Excel skills desirable
• Good knowledge of MS office suite of products expected.
• Power BI or data visualisation skills desirable but not essential
• Ability to write / amend VBA would be beneficial although not fundamental.
• Knowledge of Cloud (SaaS) hosted software solutions.
• XML, MPL or Java coding experience would be very welcome (Maconomy Extender skills desirable to support and develop Maconomy back-end customisations)
