Job summary

ICF Bangalore, India is seeking a Maconomy System Administrator to provide support on the Maconomy ERP and related applications for the E&A group. The role includes training users, maintaining the system, and collaborating with Finance, IT, and Operations to achieve business objectives.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in a systems administrator role, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with end-to-end project lifecycles.

Qualifications

• Maconomy systems administration knowledge preferred.
• Minimum 3 years in a Systems Administrator role, international setting preferred.
• Familiarity with coordinating with local and international stakeholders.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills.
• Solid Excel skills and familiarity with MS Office suite.
• Experience with data visualization tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance between E&A Finance, IT and Operations for Maconomy setup and maintenance.
• Train users on Maconomy modules and related applications.
• Maintain and support the Maconomy accounting system and related tools.
• Evaluate issues and design solutions for Maconomy system problems.
• Communicate with end users and manage the support process with Maconomy Support.
• Review and suggest changes to the Maconomy ERP portfolio.
• Assist with migration/setup of new companies and security administration.
• Create data import files to automate data uploads.
• Maintain system process documentation and user records.
• Support Business Transformation with system upgrades and changes.
• Ensure timely closure of support desk tickets.

About The Role

The successful candidate will provide Maconomy System support on the Maconomy ERP systems and related applications, including EBIS reporting (SAP Business Objects) / Web and mobile user interfaces to the E&A (Europe & Asia) Group to achieve the required business objectives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the following:

Job Role / Responsibilities

• Guidance and collaboration between E&A Finance, IT and Operation teams related to the set-up and maintenance of the system.
• Training users on the Maconomy financial system modules
• On-going maintenance and support of the Maconomy accounting system and related applications.
• Evaluating issues and developing solutions to problems encountered with the Maconomy system and related applications.
• Communicating with end users on support issues and managing the support process with Maconomy Support
• Review and recommend changes to the Maconomy systems ERP portfolio.
• Assist with the migration/setup of new companies (following acquisitions being migrated onto Maconomy to align processes and support efficiencies around consolidation / reporting / workflows) as well as projects within Maconomy, including security administration, maintaining users, groups, and user roles.
• Create and maintain data import files to automate/simplify the upload of data.
• Maintain and develop system process documentation.
• Consult with key users to identify and understand critical requirements (including reporting requirements and enhancements).
• Assist and play a key role with the Business Transformation team on financial system upgrades, transitions, implementations, and general process/procedural changes.
• Maintenance of employee and user records
• Day to day Maconomy ad hoc support to the Business
• Ensuring timely maintenance and closure of support desk tickets.

Experience / Skillset

• Maconomy systems administration / Knowledge desired
• Minimum of 3 years previous experience in a Systems Administrator role essential, ideally in an international corporation setting
• Familiarity with supporting local and international stakeholders.
• Clear and confident (oral and written) communicator.
• Awareness / understanding of end-to-end life cycle for Projects/initiatives (preferable but not essential)
• Particularly good standard of Microsoft Excel skills desirable
• Good knowledge of MS office suite of products expected.
• Power BI or data visualisation skills desirable but not essential
• Ability to write / amend VBA would be beneficial although not fundamental.
• Knowledge of Cloud (SaaS) hosted software solutions.
• XML, MPL or Java coding experience would be very welcome (Maconomy Extender skills desirable to support and develop Maconomy back-end customisations)
