Job summary

ICF Bangalore is seeking a Maconomy Systems Administrator to maintain and support the Maconomy ERP system and related applications for the E&A group. You will manage migrations, user access, data imports, and ongoing system enhancements.

The role requires hands-on administration, collaboration with Finance, IT and Operations, and clear communication with end users. Experience in Excel, VBA, and BI tools like Power BI is valued. Prior exposure to SaaS cloud solutions is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a Systems Administrator role.
• Experience in international corporate settings.
• Familiarity with supporting local and international stakeholders.
• Clear and confident written and spoken communication.
• Strong MS Excel skills and generally proficient with the MS Office suite.
• Power BI or data visualization skills desirable but not essential.
• Knowledge of Cloud (SaaS) hosted software solutions.
• Experience with XML, MPL or Java coding would be welcome.

Responsibilities

• Guidance and collaboration between E&A Finance, IT and Operation teams related to the set-up and maintenance of the system.
• Training users on the Maconomy financial system modules. On-going maintenance and support of the Maconomy accounting system and related applications.
• Evaluating issues and developing solutions to problems encountered with the Maconomy system and related applications.
• Communicating with end users on support issues and managing the support process with Maconomy Support; review and recommend changes to the Maconomy systems ERP portfolio.
• Assist with the migration/setup of new companies (acquisitions) onto Maconomy to align processes and support efficiencies around consolidation/reporting/workflows; security administration; users/groups.
• Create and maintain data import files to automate/simplify the upload of data.
• Maintain and develop system process documentation.
• Consult with key users to identify and understand critical requirements (including reporting requirements and enhancements).
• Assist with the Business Transformation team on financial system upgrades, transitions, implementations, and general process changes.
• Maintenance of employee and user records; day-to-day Maconomy ad hoc support to the Business; ensure timely maintenance and closure of tickets.

About the role

The successful candidate will provide Maconomy System support on the Maconomy ERP systems and related applications, including EBIS reporting (SAP Business Objects) / Web and mobile user interfaces to the E&A (Europe & Asia) Group to achieve the required business objectives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the following:

• Assist with the migration/setup of new companies (following acquisitions being migrated onto Maconomy to align processes and support efficiencies around consolidation / reporting / workflows) as well as projects within Maconomy, including security administration, maintaining users, groups, and user roles.
• Create and maintain data import files to automate/simplify the upload of data.
• Maintain and develop system process documentation.
• Consult with key users to identify and understand critical requirements (including reporting requirements and enhancements).
• Assist and play a key role with the Business Transformation team on financial system upgrades, transitions, implementations, and general process/procedural changes.
• Maintenance of employee and user records Day to day Maconomy ad hoc support to the Business Ensuring timely maintenance and closure of support desk tickets.

Experience / Skillset

• Maconomy systems administration / Knowledge desired
• Minimum of 3 years previous experience in a Systems Administrator role essential, ideally in an international corporation setting
• Familiarity with supporting local and international stakeholders.
• Clear and confident (oral and written) communicator.
• Awareness / understanding of end-to-end life cycle for Projects/initiatives (preferable but not essential) Particularly good standard of Microsoft Excel skills desirable
• Good knowledge of MS office suite of products expected.
• Power BI or data visualisation skills desirable but not essential
• Ability to write / amend VBA would be beneficial although not fundamental.
• Knowledge of Cloud (SaaS) hosted software solutions.
• XML, MPL or Java coding experience would be very welcome (Maconomy Extender skills desirable to support and develop Maconomy back-end customisations).
