Job summary

Rinix Automation in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra seeks a skilled CNC machinist to set up and operate VMC and Lathe, read drawings, and perform precision milling, boring, drilling, tapping, reaming, and pocketing. You will inspect with Vernier, micrometer, bore gauge, height gauge, and dial indicators, ensuring tolerance and surface finish.

Requirements include experience with Fanuc, Mitsubishi, or Siemens CNC controllers, knowledge of G‑codes/M‑codes, fixture setup, GD&T, and the ability to work

Qualifications

• Experience operating VMC and Lathe
• Read and understand engineering drawings, tolerances, and GD&T
• Knowledge of precision machining and quality inspection
• Ability to set up and troubleshoot machining operations
• Experience with fixtures, jigs, and tool room components

Responsibilities

• Independently set up and operate VMC and Lathe
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and tolerances
• Perform milling, boring, drilling, tapping, reaming, and pocketing
• Manufacture machine parts, fixtures, jigs, and tool room components
• Understand bearing/shaft/housing fits & precision assembly requirements
• Inspect in-process and final using Vernier, Micrometer, Bore Gauge, Height Gauge, and Dial Indicators
• Set work offsets and tool offsets; troubleshoot machining issues
• Ensure dimensional accuracy, surface finish, and quality compliance

Preferred candidate profile

• 1. Experience with Fanuc, Mitsubishi, or Siemens CNC controllers.
• 2. Knowledge of G-Codes and M-Codes. Fixture and jig setup experience.
• 3. Strong understanding of machining tolerances, fits, and GD&T.
• 4. Knowledge of precision machining and quality inspection.
• 5. Ability to work independently in a Tool Room environment.

Preferred

• 1. Experience in SPM / Custom machine components, fixture, die.
• 2. Exposure to low-volume, high-precision machining work.
