Job summary

Athena Consultancy Services seeks a Machine Shop Operator in Kothur, Hyderabad. The role requires hands-on operation of CNC turning, VTL Turn Mill, CNC-VTL, HMC or HBM machines with FANUC exposure as mandatory. Siemens exposure is a plus, with a must-have knowledge of G-Code/M-Code.

Diploma/B.Tech preferred; 10th pass may be considered for Hyderabad. Excellent understanding of machining parameters, reading drawings, and maintaining quality, productivity and safety standards is expected.

**Position: Machine Shop Operator**

**Location: Kothur, Hyderabad**

**Experience:** Relevant experience in CNC/VTL/Turn Mill machining operations.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• * Operate CNC/VTL/Turn Mill/HMC machines as per production requirements.
• * Read engineering drawings and understand machining parameters.
• * Perform tool setting, offsets, inspection and basic machine troubleshooting.
• * Understand and work with **G-Code & M-Code**.
• * Ensure quality, productivity and safety standards.

**Mandatory Requirements:**

• * Relevant experience in **CNC Turning, VTL Turn Mill, CNC-VTL, HMC or HBM** operations.
• * **FANUC software/control exposure – Mandatory.**
• * Candidates with **Siemens exposure may also be considered**, as training can be provided.
• * Good understanding of G-Code/M-Code.
• * **Diploma / B.Tech preferred; 10th pass candidates may also be considered for Hyderabad.**
• * Relevant hands‑on machine operating experience.
• * **Candidates with software exposure other than FANUC/Siemens should not be considered.**
