Job summary

Capgemini in Pune, India is seeking an experienced Endpoint Engineer specializing in macOS to join our Digital Workplace team. You will be the L3 escalation point for macOS incidents, design and maintain Intune policies, manage ABM/ADE/DEP provisioning, and drive security baselines and patch management.

You will collaborate with product owners and security teams to improve service stability, automate tasks with Bash/Shell, and mentor support teams. Excellent English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in macOS administration and enterprise deployment.
• Hands-on with Microsoft Intune and MDM for macOS.
• Knowledge of ABM, ADE/DEP, and Apple VPP for device lifecycle management.
• Familiarity with Apple security baselines, FileVault, and Defender.
• Proficient in Bash/Shell scripting and automation techniques.
• Understanding of ITIL Incident/Problem/Change/Release processes.
• Excellent English communication and stakeholder management.

Your Role

• Act as the L3 technical escalation point for complex macOS Workplace incidents, problems, and service requests.
• Design, implement, and maintain Microsoft Intune policies, configuration profiles, compliance policies, and security baselines for macOS devices.
• Manage macOS lifecycle including Apple Business Manager (ABM), Automated Device Enrollment (ADE/DEP), provisioning, zero-touch deployment, and patch management.

• Troubleshoot advanced macOS configuration, application compatibility, enrollment, compliance, and policy-related issues.
• Drive continuous service improvement through standardization, automation, scripting (Bash/Shell), and technical innovation.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Security teams, Workplace Leads, and other technical experts to improve service stability and user experience.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, knowledge articles, and operational procedures while mentoring support teams.

Your Profile

• 5+ years of experience in Endpoint Engineering, Workplace Management, or Digital Workplace Services with a strong focus on macOS administration.
• Hands‑on expertise in Microsoft Intune, Mobile Device Management (MDM), compliance policies, Conditional Access, Autopilot concepts, and endpoint security management.
• Strong experience with Apple ecosystem technologies including Apple Business Manager (ABM), Automated Device Enrollment (ADE/DEP), and Apple VPP.
• Good knowledge of macOS enterprise administration, troubleshooting, application deployments, device compliance, and operating system lifecycle management.
• Experience with endpoint security solutions including Microsoft Defender, FileVault encryption, device hardening, and security baselines.
• Proficiency in automation and scripting using Bash, Shell scripting, and configuration automation techniques.
• Working knowledge of enterprise Windows and macOS environments in global, standardized Digital Workplace ecosystems.
• Good understanding of ITIL processes including Incident, Problem, Change, and Release Management.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and stakeholder management skills with excellent communication in English.
