Job summary

Weekday AI (YC W21) in Hyderabad, Telangana, India is seeking an experienced Microsoft 365 SME to lead design, deployment, and governance of Microsoft365 across on-prem and cloud environments.

You will own EntraID/AzureAD, on-prem Active Directory, and Okta federation, drive adoption of new features, and mentor junior engineers while delivering SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, Teams and OneDrive workloads with strong security governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 8+ years of experience in a senior-level role focusing on Microsoft365 services
• Deep knowledge of EntraID authentication, authorization, and identity lifecycle management
• Proven track record leading successful deployments, migrations, and modernization initiatives within Microsoft365 and hybrid identity environments
• Demonstrated PowerShell proficiency, including automation development and complex bulk operations across Microsoft365 services
• Strong knowledge of SharePointOnline, ExchangeOnline, Teams, OneDrive
• Must-have skills: M365

Responsibilities

• Operate as subject matter expert (SME) for Microsoft365 technologies
• Evaluate, design, and deploy foundational frameworks and governance models for Microsoft365 services
• Architect and deliver end-to-end Microsoft365 solutions, with strong emphasis on EntraID(AzureAD), on premises ActiveDirectory, and Okta federation
• Drive the adoption and integration of new technologies and advanced features across the Microsoft365 suite (e.g., Copilot for M365, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams)
• Demonstrate expert-level proficiency with ExchangeOnline, ensuring reliable and secure operations
• Design, configure, and maintain effective Teams and SharePoint internal and external collaboration strategies
• Configure and manage cross-tenant access and collaboration settings
• Possess a deep understanding of built-in Microsoft365 security and governance capabilities, including Microsoft Purview with a focus on data security
• Collaborate closely with the cybersecurity team to design, review, and validate security and governance controls for Microsoft365 and related solutions
• Serve as subject matter expert for EntraID and on‑premises ActiveDirectory, providing mentorship to junior team members and guidance to operational teams
• Work within infrastructure, network, and application teams to seamlessly integrate Microsoft365 solutions across the enterprise ecosystem
• Participate in technical design reviews to ensure solutions meet best practices, performance expectations, and enterprise standards
• Identify opportunities to improve service performance, resilience, and operational efficiency; implement enhancements proactively
• Stay current on the latest Microsoft365 capabilities, roadmap developments, feature releases, and industry trends, advising on organizational benefits
• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including system configurations, standard operating procedures, and change management artifacts
• Provide tier3 and advanced escalation support for Microsoft365–related issues
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex identity, authentication, and configuration issues across both on premises and cloud environments

Preferred Qualifications:

• Deep knowledge of EntraID authentication, authorization, and identity lifecycle management
• Proven track record leading successful deployments, migrations, and modernization initiatives within Microsoft365 and hybrid identity environments
• Demonstrated PowerShell proficiency, including automation development and complex bulk operations across Microsoft365 services
• Strong knowledge of key Microsoft365 workloads (SharePointOnline, ExchangeOnline, Teams, OneDrive)
