Job summary

Lunarays Technologies in Noida is seeking an M365 / O365 L2 Support Engineer to deliver Tier-2 support for Microsoft 365 services and ensure smooth daily cloud operations. The role focuses on Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive for Business, with emphasis on Entra ID and Defender for Office 365 security controls.

The successful candidate will participate in 24x7 on-call shifts, handle ticketing through ServiceNow or Freshservice, and contribute to documentation and runbooks.

Qualifications

• Experience in L2/L3 support for Microsoft 365 services.
• Strong knowledge of Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive for Business.
• Experience with Entra ID/Azure AD and security controls (MFA, Conditional Access).
• Familiarity with Defender for Office 365 and mail flow policies.
• Experience in on-call/shift support and incident management per ITIL.
• Proficient in PowerShell scripting for admin tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide L2 support for Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive for Business.
• Administer and troubleshoot Entra ID/Azure AD, MFA, Conditional Access, and SSO configurations.
• Manage Defender for Office 365 policies (anti-phishing, anti-malware, safe links/attachments).
• Handle mail flow issues, mailbox migrations, distribution groups, and Exchange Online rules.
• Manage user accounts, licenses, groups, and roles in M365 Admin Center.
• Troubleshoot identity/sync using Entra ID/Azure AD Connect.
• Work on Intune device compliance and MDM/MAM policies.
• Respond to incidents within defined SLAs and maintain runbooks.

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and proactive M365 / O365 L2 Support Engineer to join our IT team. The candidate will be responsible for providing Tier-2 support for Microsoft 365 services, resolving escalated tickets, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of the Microsoft cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide L2 support for Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive for Business
• Administer and troubleshoot Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), including MFA, Conditional Access policies, and Single Sign-On (SSO)
• Manage and configure Microsoft Defender for Office 365, including anti-phishing, anti-malware, and safe links/attachments policies
• Handle mail flow issues, mailbox migrations, distribution groups, shared mailboxes, and Exchange Online transport rules
• Manage user accounts, licenses, groups, and roles within the M365 Admin Center
• Troubleshoot identity and sync issues using Entra ID / Azure AD Connect
• Work on Intune device compliance policies and mobile device management (MDM/MAM)
• Respond to and resolve incidents within defined SLAs
• Maintain documentation for configurations, runbooks, and incident resolution
• Participate in 24x7 on-call/rotating shift support as required
