Job summary

Mismo Systems, a Microsoft Solutions Partner and managed services provider, seeks an M365 Associate Consultant to manage Exchange and Collaboration environments for multiple clients. You will own your work end to end, and are expected to flag risks proactively.

Responsibilities include Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, Entra ID, and email security administration, plus documentation and client communications.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of hands-on M365 administration experience.
• Microsoft Teams administration basics and policy management.
• Entra ID user/group management, MFA, SSPR, licensing.
• SharePoint Online and OneDrive permissions and sharing.
• SPF, DKIM, DMARC configuration and troubleshooting.
• PowerShell for M365 administration, scripting ability.
• At least one active Microsoft certification (MS-700, MS-102, or equivalent).
• Good written and spoken English for client communication.
• Proactive documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer Exchange Online environments including mailboxes and mail flow.
• Manage Microsoft Teams administration and policies.
• Administer SharePoint Online and OneDrive sites and permissions.
• Support Entra ID identity management and MFA workflows.
• Configure email security policies (SPF, DKIM, DMARC).
• Troubleshoot client issues and escalate when needed.
• Create and maintain SOPs, runbooks, and client docs.
• Support license management and tenant health monitoring.

Job description

We are a Microsoft Solutions Partner and managed services provider. As an M365 Associate Consultant on our Exchange and Collaboration track, you will manage messaging, collaboration, and identity environments for multiple clients simultaneously.

This is not internal IT support. You manage multiple client environments, own your work end to end, and are expected to flag risks proactively.

What you will do

• Administer Exchange Online environments — mailboxes, distribution groups, shared mailboxes, mail flow, transport rules, connectors, and message trace
• Manage Microsoft Teams administration — policies, meetings, external access, guest access, and call quality troubleshooting
• Administer SharePoint Online and OneDrive — site collections, permissions, libraries, and sharing controls
• Support identity and access management using Entra ID — user lifecycle, MFA, SSPR, and basic Conditional Access
• Configure and maintain email security — SPF, DKIM, DMARC, EOP anti-spam, and anti-phishing policies
• Troubleshoot and resolve client issues independently — elevate only what genuinely requires senior input
• Build and maintain SOPs, runbooks, and client-specific documentation
• Support license management and tenant health monitoring for managed accounts

Must have

• 3-5 years of hands-on M365 administration experience
• Microsoft Teams administration — policies, external access, call quality basics
• Entra ID — user and group management, MFA, SSPR, licence assignment
• SharePoint Online and OneDrive — permissions, sites, libraries, sharing
• SPF, DKIM, DMARC configuration and troubleshooting
• PowerShell for M365 administration — must be comfortable running and adapting scripts, not just copy‑pasting
• At least one active Microsoft certification — MS-700, MS-102, or equivalent
• Good written and spoken English — you will communicate directly with clients
• Proactive and Excellent Documentation Skills

Good to have

• Exchange hybrid or on-premises experience — connectors, coexistence, AAD Connect
• Mailbox migration experience — on-prem to Exchange Online, cutover, staged, or IMAP
• Microsoft Purview basics — retention policies, eDiscovery, litigation hold
• Microsoft Intune — basic device enrolment and compliance policies
