Job summary

Birlasoft is seeking a senior Microsoft 365 Engineer to lead administration and governance across Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive for Business. The role requires deep expertise in Entra ID, conditional access, and security/compliance features within a large enterprise environment.

Ideal candidates will bring hands-on experience with PowerShell automation, Graph API for reporting, and integration with Active Directory in hybrid identity setups.

• 7+ years of infrastructure, platform, or systems engineering experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on Microsoft 365 engineering and administration experience.
• Extensive experience administering and supporting Microsoft 365 services, including:
• Exchange Online.
• Microsoft Teams.
• SharePoint Online.
• OneDrive for Business.
• Microsoft Power Platform.
• Strong experience with Microsoft 365 tenant administration, licensing, user lifecycle management, and governance.
• Experience administering Exchange Online, including mail routing, transport rules, retention policies, and messaging security.
• Experience managing Microsoft Teams policies, governance, collaboration services, and user enablement.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Entra ID, including:
• Hybrid Identity.
• Conditional Access.
• Identity Governance.
• Group and Access Management.
• Experience implementing and supporting Microsoft security and compliance capabilities, including:
• Microsoft Purview.
• Sensitivity Labels.
