Job summary

SHF Design Engineering seeks an experienced electrical design engineer to prepare shop drawings, SLDs, and BOMs using EPLAN and related tools. The role requires ensuring compliance with Eaton guidelines and performing short circuit calculations and temperature rise analyses.

The candidate will design LV panels, MDBs/SMDBs/ATS/MCCs, using X Energy configurator and Ebid, and conduct discrimination studies with X Spider. Strong submittal and customer communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Prepare Shop Drawings GA, SLD, Schematic & BOM using EPLAN or other Design Tools.
• Check compliance of Consultant Data & Specifications according to Eaton Guidelines.
• Prepare Study, Short Circuit Calculations, Temperature Rise.
• Panel boards with Eaton Enclosure using X Energy configurator/Ebid Software.
• Use X Spider Software for Discrimination study.
• Prepare production file submittals.
• Prepare technical drawings submittals for customer approvals.
• Prepare Technical Submittals & Offers.
• Communicate with customers for technical clarifications.
• Listen to team feedback and resolve conflicts.
• Respond to customer questions in a timely manner.
• Knowledge to make control schemes according to logic.
• Knowledge to select enclosure sizes accurately.
• Knowledge about LV panels MDBs/SMDBs/ATS/MCCs
• Knowledge about LV components and systems from Eaton/Siemens/ABB/Legrand/Schneider
