Job summary

C.H. Robinson is recruiting for a remote Transportation/Logistics specialist based in Malaysia. This full-time position supports global shipments, coordinates with customers and internal teams, and ensures adherence to defined processes.

You will monitor transportation activities, learn our TMS systems, and assist in reporting and cost-saving initiatives while delivering proactive updates to customers. English fluency is required, with flexibility for overtime.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma and/or GED.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Supply Chain, Transportation, and/or Logistics.
  • Minimum 1 year of prior experience working with and troubleshooting information systems.
  • Ability to work flexible schedule on occasion, including overtime hours when requested.
  • Site Specific: Fluent in English and the primary language of the applicable region.

Responsibilities

  • Arrange transportation for shipments.
  • Monitor load board and information flow in the Transportation Management System (TMS).
  • Maintain team mailboxes.
  • Train external C.H. Robinson customer representatives.
  • Manage reconciliation of daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports.
  • Provide proactive updates to customers and meet operational metrics.
  • Identify process improvements and cost savings within area of responsibility and/or team.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure Transportation arrangements are made for shipments by the following:
  • Monitoring customer load board and information flow in the Transportation Management System
  • Maintaining any team mailboxes
  • Performing relationship and knowledge-based exception management to any pre-defined processes
  • Document and organize existing standard operating processes
  • Learn multiple job functions within assigned team
  • Facilitate customer calls and updates, identify when an outgoing call is needed to offer proactive answers
  • Meet operational metrics
  • Conduct C.H.Robinson systems trainings to external C.H.Robinson customer representatives
  • Manage reconciliation of daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports
  • Make fact-based suggestions on how customers can achieve their goals in utilizing C.H.Robinson by understanding C.H.Robinson’s value proposition
  • Act as a resource and support for peers when needed
  • Understand and utilize C.H.Robinson’s project-based delivery model to find process improvements and cost savings within area of responsibility and/or team
  • Other duties or responsibilities as assigned according to the team and/or country specific requirements
