Job summary

Amerisource Bergen's World Courier India division seeks a logistics operations professional to join the on-site team in Ahmedabad. You will coordinate shipments, bookings, and documentation across transportation lanes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Qualifications

• Resolves carrier service issues and delivery exceptions; escalate as needed.
• Monitors shipment status, transit performance, and delivery commitments.
• Maintains audit-ready logistics records (bills of lading, POD, carrier correspondence).
• Compiles performance data and inputs for logistics reporting and improvement.
• Guides junior operators with procedures and knowledge sharing.

This role is in support of Cencoras global logistics and storage services marketed through our World Courier business.

Full time

Responsibilities

• Coordinates complex shipment scheduling, carrier bookings, and freight documentation across assigned transportation lanes, confirming accuracy and compliance with established operational procedures and service level standards
• Resolves moderately complex carrier service issues, delivery exceptions, and freight discrepancies, applying working knowledge of logistics procedures and escalating unresolved issues to senior team members
• Monitors open shipment status, transit performance, and delivery commitments across assigned lanes, surfacing delays, variances, and service risks to operations leadership for timely resolution
• Maintains accurate, audit-ready logistics records including bills of lading, proof of delivery, carrier correspondence, and freight cost documentation across assigned transportation workflows
• Compiles operational performance data, shipment activity summaries, and carrier scorecard inputs that support logistics reporting and continuous service improvement initiatives
• Guides junior operators through procedural coaching, documentation standards reinforcement, and knowledge sharing that build logistics execution capability across the team

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required
• Associates degree in logistics, supply chain, transportation, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience preferred
• 3+ years of experience in logistics operations, transportation coordination, shipment tracking, customer service operations, or a related field required
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal - must have
• Fluent Hindi communication skills, both written and verbal - must have
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts, including 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM and 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM, Monday-Saturday
