Job summary

LyondellBasell is hiring for a Warehouse & Dispatch role in India. The incumbent will manage daily material flow, ensure timely inward of raw materials, and maintain stock accuracy to prevent production stops.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 3 years’ experience in warehouse/dispatch, a graduate degree, and proficiency in MS Office and SAP/ERP. Strong Hindi/English communication is required, with Gujarati preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate in any discipline from a reputed college or university.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in warehouse and dispatch activities.

Responsibilities

• Track and coordinate receipt, storage, issue of materials to ensure availability.
• Maintain records, report relevant information, and update daily reports.
• Avoid production stoppages by timely issuance of materials.
• Ensure compliance with Operational Excellence and safety regulations.
• Monitor stock accuracy and record stock movements in system.
• Supervise warehouse staff and daily activities to meet internal/external needs.
• Deliver materials on time and plan stock transfers daily.
• Coordinate stock transfer shipments and check inventory levels.
• Maintain 5S and housekeeping in the warehouse.
• Record data for ISO, IATF, EMS and MIS reports.

BASIC FUNCTION

Ensure daily management of materials, keep in proper way so as to provide accurate information to delegated buyer, production, warehouse operators and service providers effectively in a timely manner, ensure a smooth working in raw material warehouse. Ensuring timely inward of material and FIFO compliance in storage of material and issuing of material.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Tracking and coordinating the receipt, storage, issue of materials to ensure availability of materials as per the order.
• Maintain records, report relevant information, and prepare any necessary documentation to update daily reports.
• To avoid production stoppages, issuance of raw materials /finished goods / packing /maintenance material to all department on timely basis.
• Ensure compliance with applicable Operational Excellence standards and health and safety regulations.
• Monitor and maintain stock accuracy by ensuring physical stock is in line with the inventory management system and ensure all stock movements are recorded.
• To fulfil requirement of internal or external customer on time, supervise warehouse staff and daily activities.
• To be supportive with colleagues, department and management based on requirement.
• To deliver material on time, evaluate stock transfer plan on daily basis.
• Coordinate transportation for stock transfer shipments by checking stock to determine inventory levels, anticipating delivery requirements.
• Maintain Daily stock transfer record with full of detail and keeps internal/external customers informed on the movement details.
• To avoid increase in ageing inventory, ensure FIFO process is followed while picking the materials.
• To ensure on time payment, process transporter bills on time and maintain the tracking.
• Responsibility of good housekeeping at warehouse & removal of unwanted materials from work place and maintain 5S.
• Recording data as per audit requirements of ISO : 9001 : 2015, IATF 16949 : 2016, EMS 14001 : 2015 and MIS reporting (daily, weekly and monthly).

EDUCATION

Graduate in any discipline or above from reputed college or university.

WORK EXPERIENCE

Minimum 3 years’ experience in warehouse and dispatch activities.

1. Self- motivated, having patience, good team work, strong sense of responsibility and willing to work under pressure.
2. Good negotiation & communication skills.
3. Good command of MS office, experience of SAP Or ERP
4. Good written and oral communication in Hindi & English, Gujarati is preferable.
